Spamsieve score11/21/2023 Subject: Designer Footwear from Gucci Prada Chanel & More, buy direct, forget department store prices I’m reverting back to 2.6.5 to see if the problem persists. Since the move, I have tried all the troubleshooting I could find on the SpamSieve site, including reinstalling a new copy of Spamsieve, but even after extensive training, Spamsieve makes mistakes (false positives and false negatives) on perhaps 15 of my mail. This seems to have started when I upgraded to 2.6.6. Before I moved from 2018 MacBook Pro to an M1 MacBook Pro, Spamsieve worded flawlessly with MailMate. You can see the spam score by using the SpamSieve Score column in the message list. For debugging, you might want to use Message Reset to imitate that an email arrives again in the Inbox. Only run it on mailboxes with incoming emails, most often that is just the Inbox. I looked at my whitelist and saw a number of very suspicious addresses on it, which make me think SS has missed more of the false negatives I’ve trained manually. You should not run SpamSieve on All / Junk / Deleted. But SS has no record of my marking it, so it kept the address in the whitelist and let other spams with that address through. I mark all spam that gets through as false positives, and I specifically remember marking this one, as I thought the subject was particularly weird. The Mark messages as Not Junk if score is below setting does not affect SpamSieve or its filtering. In MailMate’s Security settings, make sure that Enable is checked next to SpamSieve and that Enable for messages in is set to Inbox. The log shows Spam Sieve marking it as good, but there’s no entry that shows where I marked it as a false positive. Make sure that you are using MailMate 1.1.2 or later. As you train SpamSieve’s filter, it increasingly identifies messages as good or bad more accurately. Notice the entries for, the subject wonyun. SpamSieve scores every word and some aspects of embedded images by how frequently they appear in messages marked as spam or ham. I’ve reproduced an example from my log below. It looks like SpamSieve is sometimes not acknowledging when I train a false positive. I dug through my log and I noticed something strange. Before I might get one a day in my inbox, but now I’m seeing six or seven, sometimes more. Over the past few weeks Spam sieve has been letting more spam through than it has been. Of course the new ones catched by MailMate get SpamSieve scores, but 99.9 has no score associated.
